1. Asparagus

Asparagus contains folate which inhibits the formation of amino acid homocysteine. This amino acid is not good for the heart.


2. Carrots

Carrots rich in potassium help in relaxing blood vessels and reduce cardiovascular disorder.


3. Red Apples

Quercetin found in red apples prevents blood clot formation. The flavonoids found in it reduce blood pressure as well as reduce the risk of stroke. A 2009 study has shown that Red Apple is useful in reducing LDL.


4. Oatmeal

Oatmeal's fiber content is good for the heart.


5. Green Leafy Vegetables

Broccoli, Spinach, and Kale are good for heart health.


6. Garlic

Garlic is full of nutrients. Though the taste of raw garlic is a little acidic, it can protect you from heart disease. Raw garlic contains Manganese, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Selenium, and Fiber.
